This local reserve located just off Anzac Highway has a fabulous “Outback” theme playground equipment that gives the kids a great place to use there imaginations when playing.
This playground has lots of pieces of equipment for kids to climb up and over and through. It includes a small slippery dip, bridge for climbing over ,swing set including baby swing and I love how they have used an old water tank to create the outback theme that the kids can play in.
There are couple of little themed bouncy pieces of equipment for the toddlers along with a huge grassed area to run some energy off. It also has wheelchair access.
This reserve has BBQ facilities with undercover tables. However NO toilets, NO fence or No shade for the playground area. A nice little spot for a quick play if in the area.
Find it at: Corner of Adelphi Terrace and Mac Farlane St Glenelg North This park sits directly opposite the Patawalonga and has a small playground along with lots of grassed area. It is a great playground/park to utilise if you want to head down for a walk or bike round around the Patawalonga or if heading to Glenelg North Beach. The playground has a slippery dip, swing set including baby swing, a few toddler bouncy animals along with a couple of climbing wall features. Beside the playground is sits a small bike track for beginners. There is a picnic table but unfortunately this area has no BBQ facilities, toilets or shade at ALL on the reserve. You will find BBQ facilities on the other side of the road along the Patawalonga. The park is half fenced off along the main road closest to the playground but not on the side streets. Lots of parking around the park and if in need of a coffee there is a new coffee shop called Coffee Time a 5 min walk up to Tapleys Hill Road .
