The Salvo's play cafe in Gawler is a colourful, friendly and fun space that would suit 1-5 year olds. It's still currently a work in progress as they have grand plans to create a large outdoor space for families including outdoor play equipment, a gardening patch and more. Find it at: Julian Terrace, Gawler The $190k Inclusive playspace at Gawler opened to the public in May 2024, is a fantastic addition to the popular Gawler family hotspot. Chosen by the community, the playspace design derives from the three Rivers that run through Gawler, reflecting upon the importance of water to the area, both past and present. The new accessible walkway represents Para River, connecting the existing two main entrances to four new inclusive play zones, which sit along the banks of the walkway like mini billabongs. Each billabong targets several types of play, to help encourage a variety of play experiences for all ages and abilities. The realisation of the Apex Park Inclusive Playspace was made possible through a collaborative effort, with grant funding and a contribution from the Town of Gawler.

Find it at: Beasley Avenue, Gawler (Parking on Chignell Circuit) Opened in August 2024, Reid Reserve is a nature themed playground nestled in the beautiful reserve up north in Gawler. Reid Reserve caters to all age groups, offering an array of features including; a flying fox nest swing slide accessible roundabout standard swings There is also a shaded picnic area and a half-basketball court.
