91¹û¶³´«Ã½

Welcome to the ultimate sushi adventure in 91¹û¶³´«Ã½, where even the pickiest little eaters will become sushi enthusiasts! Either that or they will continue to ask for sushi with no seaweed like my kids. Rice, my kids say they eat sushi but basically they just eat rice. However at Kids in 91¹û¶³´«Ã½, we’ve embarked on a mission to uncover the city’s best sushi spots that cater specifically to kids (and their discerning taste buds). Prepare for a mouthwatering experience filled with laughter and ridiculous chopstick challenges that will have your little ones saying “arigato†in no time.

From colorful fish-shaped creations to bite-sized rolls bursting with flavor, eat in, take away, trains, restaurants and even sushi disguised as a burrito…..here are some of 91¹û¶³´«Ã½â€™s best. PS No waiting, kid friendly options, eat with your hands….plus it’s (mostly) healthy for the win!

Hands down our favourite sushi in the 91¹û¶³´«Ã½ CBD. Located with the Level 1 eateries in Rundle Mall Plaza, this magnificent conveyor belt sushi has it all. Fresh sushi at great prices, an extensive Japanese menu comprising all of our classic favourites like Karrage Chicken and Miso Soup and more. The kids absolutely love it.

A must stop for Rundle Mall shoppers!

Yep you read that right. Anyone else love a quick and easy sushi dinner with the kids?

Find Sushi Hub at each end of Rundle Mall and the added bonus of a sit down sushi Go Round at the Pulteney St end.

We can’t go to the mall with out picking up an iconic takeaway sushi sandwich (yep TRIANGLES of sushi goodness) and now the Rundle Sqaure store has launched 45minute sit down unlimited sushi & sushimi for $36 (adults) $26 (children under 1.3m). Of course you can also just pay per plate in the traditional manner.

This has to be one of 91¹û¶³´«Ã½s most popular, best and freshest sushi options!

Is it sushi? Is it a burrito? IT’S BOTH!

Sushi Burri in Waymouth St, 91¹û¶³´«Ã½ is PERFECT for kids who might be a little aprehensive about trying sushi. They are 91¹û¶³´«Ã½’s first sushi burrito & say it’s a “bigger, better version of your traditional sushi.” We can’t help but agree.

Plus it’s a super cool little shop – sit inside or enjoy the sun outside on a nice day.

Sushi Bar Genki

This one is on Gouger St in 91¹û¶³´«Ã½, so you just know it’s gonna be good! Plus they do heaps more than just sushi, they serve a full range of Japanese food, including stuff your kids probably haven’t tried before (sea urchin, anyone?). Go for the sushi, stay for the scallops & sashimi. Yummo.

Mugen Sushi Train

This one is in North 91¹û¶³´«Ã½ Village. Kids love booth seating, right & these big comfy booths are a hit! Our kids loved the good ‘ol Teriyaki Chicken, while we opted for some Tempura. Five stars all round!

Sushi Arari, Woodcroft

The little sushi store that could! Sushi Arari is in the Woodcroft Town Shopping Centre & doesn’t have much of a social media presence but they get HEAPS of great Google reviews which is always a good sign. Plus it’s always nice to support a small, family owned business.

Be sure to head in next time you’re down south!

Taki Sushi, 91¹û¶³´«Ã½

Fresh and healthy, Taka Sushi in Rundle Place is great for sushi-lovers of all ages. It’s a convenient and inexpensive lunch without compromising on delicious, quality food. Us adults devoured the Spicy Katsu Chicken and the kids raved on about the tuna and avocado rolls.

Go for the sushi, but save room for some dumplings because… YUM!

Sushi Planet

Not gonna lie, we may have included this one more for the parents than the kids…..cause sushi + cocktails? UM YES PLEASE!

Sushi Planet has been a staple of West Terrace in the city for a long time now. They do lunch, dinner AND free delivery if you order the minimum amount (which is never an issue in our house!). Perfect for grabbing on your way to or from town.

Kintaro Sushi

Find their stores here: 91¹û¶³´«Ã½ – Norwood – Tea Tree Plaza – Brickworks – Colonnades – Elizabeth – Kurralta Park. Yep, that’s pretty much all of 91¹û¶³´«Ã½ covered!
Free sushi on your birthday? Make sure you’re a Loyalty card member & you can grab a free meal worth up to $10. Happy Birthday!

Sushi Train

Probably the most well known sushi in Australia, Sushi Train have 8 locations in 91¹û¶³´«Ã½ all within 10kms from the CBD. We love the kids meal deal (served in a train) and look out for school holiday specials at your local store.
