Mini Max Playgroup at AFL Max

It runs on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday at 9:30am (plus an 8:30am session on Saturdays) and gives your toddler or pre-schooler the chance to have LOADS of fun plus learn some basic skills while they’re at it.

Camp Breakthrough at AFL Max

The Breakthrough Foundation and AFL Max have partnered to create Australia鈥檚 first overnight mental health camp for kids. Understanding the increasing need for mental health awareness and education for school students. Overnight camps at AFL Max aims to maximise mental health awareness through fun, conversation and learning. Designed for students in years 5-8, Camp Breakthrough is centered around empowering students to care for their own mental health and learning how to recognize and support it in others.

But our now 4yo has for the past few years been spending Sunday mornings at a 45 minute structured fundamental movement skill sessions....Mini Max! Yes footy played a key theme but it is just a small part in what will become a standard part of our weeks moving forward. We have taken little Jack to 3 terms now and waking up to head to 'footy school' on a Sunday is easily one of the favourite parts of our week. The class sizes tend to be a bit smaller on a Sunday, which works great for us, and watching his skills develop through each term has been a joy to watch.
