This one is particularly great for families with young kids\, those who just cannot make the 6am dawn service time or anyone else keen to get the family to a service with a little less stress and a little more of interest for the kids. \nReasons we love the ANZAC Day Light Horse Memorial service in 91¹û¶³´«Ã½: \n\nThey have horses!! The kids love this aspect!\nThe service is usually way less crowded than the other big ones\, and is generally shorter too\nThe service generally starts a little later than others – usually at 8am\nAttendees can pat and feed the horses after the service\, or leave carrots and apples for the service animals morning tea later\nThere is nearby on street parking on Rundle St\n\nYou’ll find the 91¹û¶³´«Ã½ ANZAC Day Light Horse Memorial service on the corner of East Terrace and North Terrace / Botanic Road – across from the Botanic Hotel and the Botanic Gardens entrance gates. The service usually starts at 8am – but always best to check the details on the RSL page here. \nWe love the Light Horse Memorial on ANZAC Day for 91¹û¶³´«Ã½ families\, and for other ANZAC Day services\, ideas and activities check out our ANZAC page here URL:/event/light-horse-memorial-anzac-service/ LOCATION:Light Horse Memorial 91¹û¶³´«Ã½\, Cnr of East Terrace and North Terrace / Botanic Road\, 91¹û¶³´«Ã½ CATEGORIES:ANZAC ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/jpeg:/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/ANZAC_Day_Kids-in-91¹û¶³´«Ã½_Light_Horse_Memorial-7.jpg GEO:-34.9210023672;138.611086944 X-APPLE-STRUCTURED-LOCATION;VALUE=URI;X-ADDRESS=Light Horse Memorial 91¹û¶³´«Ã½ Cnr of East Terrace and North Terrace / Botanic Road 91¹û¶³´«Ã½;X-APPLE-RADIUS=500;X-TITLE=Cnr of East Terrace and North Terrace / Botanic Road:geo:138.611086944,-34.9210023672 END:VEVENT BEGIN:VEVENT DTSTART;TZID=UTC:20260425T093000 DTEND;TZID=UTC:20260425T103000 DTSTAMP:20260419T203857 CREATED:20220412T021744Z LAST-MODIFIED:20260415T043500Z UID:10003492-1777109400-1777113000@kidsinadelaide.com.au SUMMARY:Anzac Day March DESCRIPTION:91¹û¶³´«Ã½ Anzac March Guide – Assembly Areas\, Order of March\, March Route\, Dispersals\, Instructions. \nThe march commences at 9:30am from the North Terrace/Gawler Place intersection. \nSpectators are invited to line both North Terrace and King William Street to watch those participating in the march. \nIt is important to note that the Anzac Day March in 91¹û¶³´«Ã½ is a commemorative march and not a parade – Statement of March Principles. \nWHEN: Saturday 25 April \nWHERE: Cnr North Terrace & Gawler Place \nTIME: 9:30 am URL:/event/anzac-day-march/ LOCATION:91¹û¶³´«Ã½ CBD\, King William St\, 91¹û¶³´«Ã½\, 5000 CATEGORIES:ANZAC ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/jpeg:/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Anzac-Day-March.jpeg END:VEVENT BEGIN:VEVENT DTSTART;TZID=Australia/91¹û¶³´«Ã½:20260425T111500 DTEND;TZID=Australia/91¹û¶³´«Ã½:20260425T120000 DTSTAMP:20260419T203857 CREATED:20240407T055435Z LAST-MODIFIED:20260415T043207Z UID:10005108-1777115700-1777118400@kidsinadelaide.com.au SUMMARY:Cross of Sacrifice Remembrance Service DESCRIPTION:The traditional Service of Remembrance is held at the Cross of Sacrifice in Pennington Gardens\, North 91¹û¶³´«Ã½\, shortly after the Anzac Day March concludes.
