What Makes It Family-Friendly?

  • Safe and inclusive access: A smooth, sealed pathway, 3 metres wide, designed for shared use by walkers, prams, wheelchairs, and cyclists.
  • Gentle terrain, easy pace: The entire 1.1 km trail takes about 30–45 minutes one way, ideal for families managing strollers or little legs.
  • Perfectly poised for multi-generational outings: Whether pushing toddlers or strolling with grandparents, this trail is crafted for everyone to enjoy.

Scenic and Safe

  • Breathtaking coastal views: Dramatic limestone cliffs, serene ocean panoramas, and gentle sea breezes make every step a sight to enjoy.
  • Climate-ready infrastructure: The bluff’s reinforced seawall—built with over 20,000 tonnes of rock—helps protect the trail and nearby coast from erosion and rising seas.
  • Evening charm with safety: Solar-powered lights illuminate the path after dark, adding both ambiance and practical visibility.

A Rich Cultural Journey

  • Artfully meaningful: Along the trail, you’ll encounter Tjilbruke Dreaming Track Message Sticks, created by Kaurna Elder Karl Winda Telfer. These artworks acknowledge the sacred songline of the local Kaurna people.

Ideal for Families: Perfect Day Trip Ideas

  • Start at Port Noarlunga: Enjoy leisurely breakfast at a foreshore café (we love Agatha’s) before or after your walk.
  • Leisurely stroll all the way: Take it at kid-friendly pace, with plenty of stops to soak in the ocean views.
  • Refuel at Christies Beach: Reward junior explorers with eats at cozy beachside cafés or ice-cream spots.

What a fabulous addition to an already stunning spot for families!

Funlab, Rundle Place 91ý /funlab-adelaide/ /funlab-adelaide/#respond Wed, 29 Mar 2023 01:09:18 +0000 /?p=112246 A first-of-its-kind entertainment and dining precinct is now open upstairs on Level One, Rundle Place!

Australasia’s largest fun company provider, Funlab, has brought three of its global brands to South Australia for the first time to create ‘Entertainment Place’

Strike Bowling

Not your average tenpin bowling alley. From bowling to laser tag and karaoke to escape rooms, they’ve got the fun covered for everyone. Throw in a fully-equipped cocktail bar, gourmet kitchen offerings and parade of party packages into the equation and it’s your one-stop shop for the ultimate entertainment experience.

Hijinx Hotel

An imaginative and interactive venue designed to resemble a quirky New York hotel. Instead of traditional accommodation, it offers a series of quick-play challenge rooms that blend theatrical elements with whimsical design, reminiscent of a fusion between Willy Wonka’s factory and a Wes Anderson film set. Each room presents a different game or puzzle, encouraging guests to engage in playful problem-solving and teamwork. This venue is suitable for all ages and is ideal for group outings, team-building events, or unique date nights.

Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq

It’s dazzling, it’s delightful, it’s a spectacle for (all) the ages! Archie Brothers Cirque Electriq is a real prize for your eyes – a kaleidoscopic circus of cocktails, arcade and ticket games that give old fun a new life! Features a wide array of classic and modern arcade games, including basketball hoops, Mario Kart, and the Bop It Arcade. Guests can also enjoy dodgem cars, virtual reality experiences, and a variety of prize games. The on-site bar serves whimsical cocktails and loaded shakes, adding to the festive atmosphere. Archie Brothers is a family-friendly destination that caters to both children and adults.

Dining Precinct

Alongside Funlab’s entertainment offerings will be a 1,500sqm dining precinct. Set to become the culinary heart of the retail strip, Rundle Place’s Level 1 will be a destination for food and beverage with up to seven restaurants and bars showing best in class South Australian and national tenants. Food and beverage operators will include Doughballs, The Pizza Place.

“You can come to Rundle Place, park in our adjacent carpark, have lunch in the lower ground food court, shop at more than 20 premium retail brands on ground floor, and then go upstairs for a night of fun and fine food at Entertainment Place and the new dining precinct.” – Sam Sproats, Executive Director of Funds Management at Fortius.

The 91ý Hills Fire Disaster – How to Help /the-adelaide-hills-fire-disaster-how-to-help/ /the-adelaide-hills-fire-disaster-how-to-help/#respond Mon, 23 Dec 2019 02:09:31 +0000 https://kidsinadelaide.wpengine.com/?p=45856 86 homes and almost 500 outbuildings with acres of vineyards, farmland and orchards have ravaged by the devastating fires still currently burning through the 91ý Hills. If you’re like us and feeling a bit helpless and don’t know where to start when it comes to helping with the Fire Disaster we’ve asked around and found out the most helpful ways you can help out.

Cash, not goods

Donating money to St Vinnies or the CFS Foundation is really what’s needed at times like this.
With the influx of food donations and shelter donations, it’s too much and it’s become very hard to properly handle or distribute donated goods.
Cash, cash, cash – that’s what’s needed and you can donate online at
Vinnies SA Bushfire Appeal –
CFS Foundation –

Those affected by the bushfire can contact Recovery Hotline 1800 302 787

Buy some wine!

Buy and enjoy some local 91ý Hills wine over the Christmas holidays and you’ll really be helping some of the businesses who have lost so much in the last few days. In particular look for the below

Keep checking this Facebook page

is the go to page for updates on how you can help. Please don’t message them, just keep your eyes on their posts for ways you can help. As you can imagine they are flat out, so please don’t add extra work unless it is urgent.

When it’s safe

When this is all over, and hopefully that’s sooner rather than later, we’re going to have to rally together to help the growers and local businesses rebuild and get back on their feet. We’ll be sure to let you know when the roads reopen and who, what and where to buy from.

Let us know

Do you know any one with kids who have directly suffered any loss as a result of any SA fires? It might be their home, their business, land, or even their Christmas presents. We would like to help by sourcing them some tickets and vouchers for use when ever they are ready. Please send us a message on Facebook or Instagram, or an email to web@kidsinadelaide.com.au if you know a family in need.
CFS will assist us in identifying families.

Also, if anyone is organising a fundraiser we’d love to know about it. Please email or message us and we’ll help you spread the word.
