National Reconciliation Week
Events

National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements, and to explore how we can all contribute to reconciliation in meaningful ways. Held each year from May 27 to June 3, these dates commemorate two significant milestones in Australia’s reconciliation journey, the successful 1967 referendum and the High Court Mabo decision.
Across 91¹û¶³´«Ã½, families can take part in a range of events celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures through storytelling, art, music, film, workshops, community gatherings and cultural experiences. Browse our family-friendly National Reconciliation Week events below and discover ways to connect, learn and celebrate together.
