New Found Sound

New Found Sound, a free, all-ages music festival, returns on Saturday 9 May with 40 acts across
10 venues in historic Yartapuulti |Port 91¹û¶³´«Ã½ – including invited guests from interstate for
the first time.
Now in its third year, New Found Sound has grown into one of South Australia’s most loved free
cultural events, attracting more than 5,500 music lovers to the historic postcode that is Port
91¹û¶³´«Ã½ in 2025.
The festival returns with an expanded scope, championing live and local music in an immersive
atmosphere as the streets, laneways, and waterways of Port 91¹û¶³´«Ã½ come alive with sound.
Interstate guests include Sydney DIY punk heroes Canine, future superstar Noongar Wongi
rapper INKABEE, Guringai sisters Charlie Needs Braces, and Tasmanian electronic duo Mum and
Dad.
These interstate artists will join 36 local acts — including Adam Page, Druid Fluids, Ella Ion, and
Meena da Silva — performing across some of Port 91¹û¶³´«Ã½’s most iconic and historic spaces:
Waterside Workers Hall, the City of 91¹û¶³´«Ã½ Clipper Ship, the SA Maritime Museum, and
Lighthouse Wharf, as well as beloved local venues Pirate Life, McGregor & Young Distillery,
Colac Port 91¹û¶³´«Ã½, Fergie Mac’s Lounge, 10 Gallon Hat, and Port River Cruises.
