Dancing Monsters Community Parade
Bored of being human? Come and be something else in a wild parade! This annual parade is open to all community, and expresses creative connection with the non-human world: places, animals, trees, or just something random from your imagination!
No need to overthink it – just mask your face and/or adorn yourself for the parade.
Musicians and spectators are also welcome.
We will parade along the Yerta Bulti Port 91¹û¶³´«Ã½ River, celebrating the beautiful river and all it’s inhabitants. Come as you are, as a musician, or as a monster that protects important places and communities.
The Parade leaves at 7.30. Pre-parade show includes community dress-up, rhythm rehearsal and Welcome to Country ceremony led by Aunty Angelena.
