I remember a few years ago, once the kids were sound asleep, I sat down with a wine in hand & put a Christmas movie on to wrap their Christmas presents. When I saw the sheer amount of gifts I had bought for them over the year (to “put away for Christmas”) I was disgusted with myself. There was an endless amount of STUFF that they didn’t really need, that I knew deep down would get played with for five minutes before being discarded & that I knew would end up in landfill before long.

We stumbled upon Artisan Delights at the Royal 91��ý Show and the kids just HAD to take home one of their paint your own cookies – they absolutely loved it so we were thrilled to learn that they were also putting together festive paint your own cookie kits for Christmas!

Did someone say market?… Did someone say Christmas market??

Those words are music to our ears! There is nothing we love more than finding a really great market in 91��ý (or maybe in a regional South Australian town?) and wandering the stalls, checking out what all of 91��ý’s talented crafty people or cooks have been up to. It means we get to support local South Australian producers while ticking some items off of our Christmas shopping list.

Everyone is in a great mood (cause it’s Christmas, right?!) and usually Christmas markets include some delicious food, entertainment or activities for the kids or maybe even a visit from the big man himself! (Father Christmas….we’re talking about him, not your weird neighbour from up the road.)

This year our Elves have been super busy finding all the BEST, must-visit Christmas markets in 91��ý for 2025 and popping them on the nice list.
