I’m talking, someone running activities for me, taking care of the set up and clean up and not having to bring a whole heap of decorations and toys with us. So when I found the WOW Sensory Centre and Toddler Sense, I knew it was perfect!

With a Birthday Host on hand for your whole party, you really don’t have to worry about much more than the food, cake, and your own kids (of course!). You have access to a kitchen with a fridge and small oven to help with your catering (whether you choose to do it yourself or outsource), and you can arrive half an hour before your party starts to get those final touches in place before guests arrive.

So what exactly is a Toddler Sense party? Ideal for kids from 1 through to 6 (but we had 7 year olds at the party who had a ball, too), the session is broken up into 4 phases:

  • 1 hour of free play time in the huge play room
  • Lunch time – tables and chairs set already up for the kids
  • Sensory session run by one of the fabulous educators
  • Cake/Happy Birthday/Party Bags

We chose our own theme and brought a few decorations, but the venue is so colourful and fun that this really isn’t necessary. Our Birthday Host also got some music going while the kids played in the play room, which kept the vibes going and had the kids dancing and singing along! The sensory session was a stand out with the Freeze Dance Game, parachute, balloons, bubbles, musical instruments and a dance party to finish it off! The kids were well and truly pumped (and pooped) by the end!

We had many of our family and friends commenting on how wonderful the party and venue was, with most experiencing a sensory session for the first time. Toddler Sense parties are aimed at pre school aged children, while WOW Sensory Centre parties are perfect for that milestone first birthday (but suited to 1-4 year olds).

It will be the easiest party you ever have and one that your child and your guests will absolutely love!
