The Garden of Unearthly Delights is 91ý Fringe’s ultimate playground for families, friends, and anyone up for a bit of fun. Under the gumtrees in Rundle Park, there’s something for everyone. The 2026 program is huge, with over 115 shows across six weeks from 13 February to 22 March. There’s comedy, circus, music, physical theatre, sideshows, and plenty of practical touches that make life easier for families, like pram-friendly entrances, parenting rooms, and air-conditioned venues.

This year, a range of exciting new family-friendly shows is coming to The Garden, including The Luck Child, Splish Splash Science!, The Alphabet of Awesome Science, and Camp Culture, a fabulous circus adventure led by Faboriginal superstar Dale Woodbridge Brown. Returning favourites include Trash Test Dummies, Amazing Drumming Monkeys – Dance Party, Peter Combe, Monski Mouse, and one of the youngest Fringe performers, DJ Alba, with The Pinky Pie Party – Part 2.

Food is a big drawcard here. There are loads of food and drink options spread right across the park, from easy crowd-pleasers to more adventurous eats, plus bars for a post-work drink or a late Fringe catch-up. Our tip? Wander first, decide later… there’s always more than you expect.

The sideshows, rides and much-loved Ferris Wheel are back again in 2026, along with market stalls and pop-up surprises around every corner. It’s lively without being overwhelming, and there’s always something happening, whether you’re there for an hour or the whole evening.

The Garden keeps accessibility and inclusivity front and centre, with loads of free entertainment for everyone to enjoy. There’s ABC Radio 91ý broadcasting live, The Garden Sessions with South Australia’s best new and emerging Indigenous musicians every Saturday afternoon, and the RAA Garden Party on Sundays packed with all kinds of Garden acts. You can catch Trevor Jones The Piano Man in the Wine Bar, unwind at The High Horse Knock Off Sessions, or dance the night away at The Deck with interstate and local DJs.

Whether you’re visiting with kids, meeting friends, heading out for a date night or just soaking up Fringe atmosphere, The Garden of Unearthly Delights is a must-do each Fringe season.

Fool’s Paradise is back bigger and bolder in 2026, with four exciting performance spaces: The Vault, The Lab, The Glasshouse Pavilion and the brand-new Bunker, bringing even more shows, variety and chances to catch something brilliant with the kids.

Expect a jam-packed program featuring circus favourites, interactive performances and family-loved Fringe hits, plus free activities throughout the precinct.

is back in Murlawirrapurka / Rymill Park from Friday 20 February to Sunday 22 March 2026, celebrating its 16th year at 91ý Fringe and set to be the biggest season yet.

One of the most loved Fringe hubs in 91ý, Gluttony sits right in the heart of the city’s eastern Park Lands. It’s lively, colourful and full of atmosphere, but still easy to wander with kids, prams and snack stops along the way.

In 2026, Gluttony will host over 200 shows across 18 performance spaces, including two new venues, making it the largest Fringe venue in the park. The program covers comedy, circus, cabaret, theatre, magic, music, dance, spoken word and children’s entertainment, with shows running from daytime family-friendly performances through to late-night events.

Food and Drinks

You definitely won’t go hungry at Gluttony. Food vendors from around the world serve everything from festival favourites like fairy floss, popcorn and gelato to more substantial meals and healthier options. Vegan and gluten-free choices are easy to find and food is spread across several areas of the park, including a lakeside dining precinct.

There are 19 bars across the site, along with coffee, smoothies, bubble tea, juices and free water refill stations. Gluttony is cashless, so all food and drinks need to be purchased by card.

Things for Kids

Gluttony has a relaxed, family-friendly feel during the day, making it a great Fringe stop with kids. Families can check out the Dart Blaster Arena or pop over to the nearby Quentin Kenihan Inclusive Playspace to burn off some energy. There are also plenty of open spaces around the park and lake to sit, snack and enjoy the Fringe atmosphere without feeling rushed or crowded.

What’s New in 2026

Two new venues join Gluttony this year. The Gosling is a smaller, quieter lakeside tent designed for stand-up comedy and intimate performances. Tandanya Theatre, just across East Terrace, will host a curated program of First Nations works, created in partnership with Tandanya National Aboriginal Cultural Institute.

Also new in 2026, Gluttony is launching the Gluttony Sculpture Walk. For the first time, the park will host an outdoor exhibition and sculpture competition with large-scale visual art installations across the grounds. This free, open-air, self-guided experience celebrates visual arts and expands the artistic offerings at Gluttony.
